2026–2027 Housing Applications
The 2026–2027 Housing Application has reopened, and we are currently accepting applications through May 15, 2026.
Please note that there is currently a waitlist for housing. If you are interested in being added to the waitlist, you are welcome to submit an application during this reopening period.
Housing is not guaranteed; however, we do anticipate some cancellations and movement in availability. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide details regarding individual chances of receiving an offer or waitlist position outcomes.
We encourage interested applicants to apply as soon as possible before the application closes on May 15.
You may submit your Housing Application here (LINK)

CHOOSE YOUR RESIDENCE OPTIONS
We have spaces suitable for students who are arriving single, partnered, or with a family. During the application process, you’ll have a chance to rank your room/apartment preferences. If you’re a single student applying for a shared apartment, be sure to complete the Lifestyle Questionnaire within the application to search for compatible roommates. Those who are already matched with roommates may apply together.
Shared unit assignments are more likely due to high demand for single units (studios and one-bedroom apartments).
We anticipate that the demand for on-campus housing will exceed availability, and housing cannot be guaranteed. Off-campus housing resources are available here.
3
CONFIRM YOUR HOUSING ASSIGNMENT
Assignments are made according to your ranked preferences and space availability. Once you receive a housing assignment by email, sign your housing license online and submit a deposit by the deadline (within 72 hours) to confirm it. Complete instructions will be included in the housing assignment notification sent to your *Cornell email.
An active Net ID is required to apply – it is important to activate your NetID and Cornell email account promptly once you receive the activation instructions from Admissions.
*All official Cornell Tech Housing communications are sent to your Cornell University email address, so we strongly recommend checking your inbox regularly.
